Atlantic City Video Blackjack: strategy and rules
· Cards 2-9 have the value of their number. 10s, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10 and Aces can either be worth 1 or 11, whichever number helps your hand the most.
· In Atlantic City Video Blackjack you place your bet and then the dealer deals you 2 cards, both face up so you can see their values.
· The dealer gives him or herself 2 cards, one face up and one face down.
· Now you choose what you are going to do: Hit, Stand, Double Down, Split, Surrender or Take Insurance.
Here are the different options once you have seen the dealer's card:

What They Mean
Hit
When you want the dealer to deal you another card. Do this when you think you can get closer to a 21 total; you can hit more than once.
Stand
When you don't want anymore cards and think this is as close to 21 as you can safely get.
Double Down
This is when you think you need just one more card to win the hand. If you make this wager you can only take one card and then you have to stand.

Split
If your first two cards are of the same value, you can split them into 2 hands and play 2 hands at once. You have to place an additional wager equal to the first bet to cover both hands.
Surrender
You can give up half of your bet and not play out the hand if the dealer makes Blackjack.
Take Insurance
If the dealer's first card is an Ace, you can take out an insurance bet which can be up to half of the original bet. It's a side wager and pays 2:1 if dealer has Blackjack.
